What inspired the name, “the903np”?

Years ago, our founder, Charlsie, relocated to Dallas to work for a large hospital system where patients coming from East Texas for higher levels of care were affectionately known as “the 903-ers.” As a proud “903-er” herself, Charlsie initially thought the nickname just identified the area code, but soon recognized that being known as "a 903-er" was often synonymous with high risk, complex medical conditions. This realization inspired her to build a practice based on proactive prevention and wellness strategies, prioritized assessments and referrals, appropriate screenings, early diagnosis, advocated treatment options, and fully transparent collaboration with her patients regarding their individual plans of care.

When it came time to name her practice, “the903np” felt like the perfect way to truly capture her mission to serve the health and wellness needs of her community. The lowercase typeset speaks to Charlsie’s humility toward the greater mission of her “903” community. Her vision is to come alongside patients and together, form a healthier community by providing improved access to care with a personalized approach. How much do your appointments cost?

  • New Patient Appointment: $150

  • Previously Established PCP Patient: $100 for initial visit if booked before Jan 1, 2025.

  • Follow-Up Appointment: $75

  • Telemedicine Visits: $75

  • All other visits will vary.

Do You Treat Children at THE903NP?

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, the903np does not file insurance claims directly. However, we will provide you with a receipt for your services, which you can use for reimbursement. We're available to assist you with the filing process with your individual insurance carriers.

Will my insurance Agency reimburse me for the cost of my visit?

It is impossible to predict every insurance carrier's process, so we recommend that you reach out to your insurance carrier and ask them if they reimburse for medical practices that do not accept insurance.

Do You Accept Payments with My HSA or FSA card?

We sure do! All services provided by the903np should fall under allowable services for Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts.

How does direct primary care differ from traditional primary care?

As a DPC provider, the903np operates free from the demands and restrictions imposed by insurance carriers in traditional primary care settings. This freedom allows us to prioritize meaningful interactions tailored to your needs during each visit. We offer flexible scheduling options, including after-hours, in-home, and virtual visits, to accommodate you and your family. With our direct pay model, you pay an upfront, flat rate for each visit, avoiding unexpected fees and complicated insurance processes. This approach keeps our operating costs lower and enables us to focus entirely on unrushed, exceptional care at every appointment.

How does the dpc model keep costs lower and how does that affect me?

Operating under insurance-based models demands significant time and additional staff for organizing, reviewing, filing, and managing payment claims to third-party payers. By choosing to forgo insurance, we can minimize hiring and overhead costs, enabling us to see fewer patients while providing a higher quality of care.

What can I expect during my first appointment?

Your first appointment is scheduled for one hour, where we take the time to understand your health history, your current concerns, and your wellness goals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that things can happen, but kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
